Artist Application

Important Details

1. SummerFEST covers basic artist backline.
2. If invited to perform, each performing member will receive a non-transferrable Weekend Pass granting access to all SummerFEST 2024 events.
3. SummerFEST generally does not cover travel and accommodation expenses.
4. We are seeking both local and visiting artists. Not all questions will be used to evaluate both categories so please answer completely to the best of your ability. For example: number of shows played outside of your hometown is not as much of a factor for a performance designated for local talent but it is relevant for a headline or visiting talent spot.

Please note:

1. The person listed as primary contact in this application should be someone authorized to respond on behalf of the applying artist.
2. We receive many applications and will only contact successful applicants or if we need more information.

Selection:

1. Please note that not all artists applying will be invited to play.
2. Our music selection committee will evaluate artist applications based on several factors including, but not limited to: alignment with the festival format, audience popularity, budget availability, and the quality of the submitted example materials.
3. Sussex Tourism Festival Inc reserves the right to modify the festival format, including artist selection, at it's sole discretion without notice.
